Name of the Spokesperson:
Mr. Arifur Rahman Co-founder at IOTA Infotech Ltd. Dhaka, Bangladesh
1) First of all, how are you and your family doing?
Alhamdulillah, by Allah’s grace, my family and all of my colleagues at IOTA Infotech Tech are doing well.
2) Tell us about you, your career, and how you founded or joined this company!
I’ve always been fascinated by the IT industry, and I’ve always been an enthusiast of new technologies and innovative software and their applications. My interest in the development of the IT business gradually changed me into an entrepreneur.
In 2018, we were a small team striving to innovate, convince people to trust our company, and keep everyone focused on the same vision; nevertheless, we are now a team of 25+ engineers all working toward the same objective.
3) How does your company market its product/services online?
As a B2B outsourcing software development firm, we establish relationships with agencies, entrepreneurs, and startups in order to solve their challenges with dedicated expert and project-based solutions.
These are our two work modules, both are highly flexible to our client’s demands, and We’re still working on making our work module clearer to our client.
4) How the coronavirus pandemic affects your business and how did you get through it?
From movie theaters to nail salons to warehouses and meat processing factories, the coronavirus outbreak impacted every industry in 2020. Many businesses around the country had their supply lines disrupted and demand for their products and services dropped as a result of the constrained shutdown.
However, because remote working is growing more prevalent, it opens up new prospects in the IT business.
We are lucky and appreciative of our team members’ contributions to our work process, and collectively, we have completed our projects on schedule and with a positive reputation.
We also convey health recommendations and information from our government to our resources on a regular basis to guarantee that our team members follow all self-protection practices at home.
5) What specific tools, software, and management skills are you using to manage your online marketing?
We use technologies like HubSpot, Slack, Sales Navigator, Asana, and others to manage our marketing culture of outbound marketing, inbound marketing, digital marketing, content marketing, social media marketing, video marketing, and so on. We attempt to deliver useful information to our clients that will help them with their company or solve problems in their everyday life.
Furthermore, we are refining our market penetration, market expansion, and diversification plans based on our ideology.
6) Who are your competitors? And how do you plan to stay in the game?
Our sector is competitive, and our competitors are spread around the globe, from Ukraine to Asia, but particularly in Asian countries that offer IT outsourcing services. Fortunately, a few well-known IT Outsourcing businesses in Bangladesh solved some key problems with Bangladesh’s global reputation and awareness in the IT industry.
We’re striving to focus more on our work culture and employee empowerment so that, as early adopters, they can take advantage of all of the latest technology that the world has to offer, which helps us stay competitive.
7) Your final thoughts
I believe in my team members with all of the information and rights to open communication in my organization, and we are constantly learning from one another.
I am confident that we will be able to develop best practices and collaborate to establish a culture that will benefit not just our clients but also our society.
Creativity and innovation are required for sustainable business practices. Being an entrepreneur entails a great deal of responsibilities and obstacles in terms of realizing potential rewards for the company and team members.
Thank you so much for your time and we’d love to wish you the best of luck!
