Moldova’s Epic International Hackathon: Exploring Innovative IT Solutions for Cutting-Edge Sectors During the DeepTech GigaHack Event!

Moldova is currently undergoing a significant transformation, shifting away from its previous reliance on outsourcing and directing its efforts towards an intensified focus on product development, led by the dynamic ICT sector. The growth of this sector has been truly remarkable, exceeding the progress of all other industries by achieving an exceptional growth rate – 45%. On a regional scale, Moldova stands out as an appealing destination for businesses, offering attractive incentives to foster growth. Within the Moldova Innovation and Technology Park (MITP), a virtual park that amalgamates the finest practices of the EU while streamlining bureaucratic processes, a flat tax of 7% on turnover is applied. This initiative has garnered significant attention, attracting 1600 resident IT companies from 38 different countries. All you need to know about the DeepTech Giga Hack

Over 200 participants will converge on a shared platform to blend their skills and expertise, in order to produce pragmatic solutions to the tangible issues confronting modern society. Spanning 36 hours, they will put their capabilities, proficiencies, and inventiveness to the test, constructing projects in pivotal domains, harnessing advanced technologies.

Participating teams will gain valuable insights from mentors and advisors with vast international expertise, inspiring them with a potent blend of motivation and drive.

Whether registering individually or with their own teams, participants will be a part of a group and will tackle various challenges over the course of two days. Those who generate the most feasible solutions will have the chance to claim prizes valued at up to around 13,000 EUR. Moderating DeepTech GigaHack will be none other than the esteemed Estonian entrepreneur and speaker, Sebastien Toupy.
