Turkish mobility company Karsan is bringing its autonomous vehicle operations to CES 2026, positioning itself as one of the few players showcasing autonomy that’s already running on public roads — not just inside controlled demos.
According to materials shared ahead of the event, Karsan will present what it calls “Autonomous Intelligence” at CES, highlighting autonomous systems already deployed in real traffic conditions with real passengers. The company emphasizes that autonomy for Karsan is no longer a pilot concept, but a technology in daily operation.

From concept to live operations
Karsan has been steadily building its autonomous portfolio around electric public transport, particularly autonomous buses designed for urban use. At CES 2026, the company plans to demonstrate how its systems handle real-world operations, including passenger transport, route execution, and continuous service — an area where many autonomous vehicle developers are still limited to testing phases.
The messaging marks a clear contrast with autonomy narratives focused on future promises. Karsan is instead leaning into operational maturity, suggesting its technology has already crossed the deployment threshold.
CES 2026 presence
Karsan will exhibit at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) in the West Hall, where it plans to engage with industry stakeholders, mobility partners, and city operators. The company’s CES schedule spans January 6–9, with live demonstrations and briefings planned throughout the show.
Why it matters
As the autonomous vehicle sector faces growing scrutiny over timelines and real-world readiness, companies that can point to active deployments may gain an advantage — especially in public transportation, where autonomy is increasingly seen as a way to address driver shortages, efficiency, and urban sustainability.
Karsan’s CES 2026 showcase suggests the company is betting that practical autonomy, not experimental prototypes, will define the next phase of the mobility conversation.
