Siemens is using CES 2026 to position industrial AI as the next major computing platform, one that stretches beyond data centers and into factories, infrastructure, and energy systems.
The company announced that its CES 2026 keynote will feature Siemens President and CEO Roland Busch alongside senior leaders from NVIDIA, Microsoft, PepsiCo, and Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS). The session will focus on how AI is reshaping the physical world, from product design to real-world operations.
Busch and Jensen Huang take center stage
At the center of the keynote is an on-stage conversation between Roland Busch and NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang. The discussion will examine what Siemens describes as the “next phase of industrial AI,” including how intelligence can be scaled responsibly and reliably across physical systems—moving from the data center to the factory floor and beyond.
The session also reflects the expanding collaboration between Siemens and NVIDIA, spanning AI software, automation, and industrial infrastructure.
Microsoft, PepsiCo, and fusion energy join the narrative
Other keynote conversations will broaden the scope of industrial AI adoption:
- Microsoft: Jay Parikh, Executive Vice President for CoreAI, will discuss how Microsoft’s AI capabilities, combined with Siemens’ industrial domain expertise, could drive the next wave of industrial transformation.
- PepsiCo: Athina Kanioura, PepsiCo’s Global Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, will share how global enterprises are rethinking operations and value creation using digital twins and advanced simulation technologies.
- Commonwealth Fusion Systems: CEO and co-founder Bob Mumgaard will address how advanced technologies are accelerating commercial fusion, positioning it as a potential source of clean, firm, and scalable energy.
Industrial AI, packaged for 2026 and beyond
Siemens says Busch will also outline the company’s technology stack for industrial AI and highlight concrete opportunities for organizations to apply AI across industries starting in 2026. The messaging reinforces Siemens’ push to make industrial AI accessible, scalable, and operational rather than experimental.
The keynote will take place on January 6, 2026, following the CTA State of the Industry Address, at the Venetian’s Palazzo Ballroom in Las Vegas and will be livestreamed on Siemens’ LinkedIn channel.
Beyond the keynote
In parallel, Siemens and AWS will operate a joint broadcast studio at CES, hosting discussions with AI leaders, partners, and customers on industrial AI adoption and announcements from the show floor. The studio will be located in the Las Vegas Convention Center North Hall and livestreamed on Siemens’ LinkedIn and YouTube channels
